Artifact 1

I created an email to 100 senators for their help in funding research initiatives that explore childhood trauma's effects on behavior and its connection to violent crimes. From this course, I was able to give my email proper credibility by knowing how to gather the trust of my audience. By including reputable sources in my email it raised the probability of them listening to me and considering supporting.

Artifact 2

I created a handwritten letter targeting the members of my community, in inorder to persuade them to help fund research initiatives that desire to understand the link between childhood trauma and the development of a serial killer. This artifact is a great example of utilizing string rhetorical appeals to get the message and goal of my argument across. Through ENC 2135 I learned how to effectively apply pathos to my genre to connect with the reader and raise the chances of gaining their support.
